DESIGN AND HARDWARE
The most pleasing thing about the new macbook is its design it is flawless and amazingly thinner notebook which feels like a feather in the hands.The complete body is made of metal and is available in three colors(gold,silver,space gray).
It has a full sized keyboard with the new butterfly mechanism which apple claims that with that type of mechanism the keyboard will be more flexible and user friendly.The most beautiful thing is the precision backlighting which looks wonderful on the macbook. The new macbook has a 12 inch retina display with 3 million pixels with an aspect ratio of 16:10,The display being a 2k screen looks great and images looks crispy.
Apple have also included a new technology called force touch pad which means that we can set the pressure of our fingers and can customize according to our wish and it has the ability to identify with which finger we are operating the macbook.
PROCESSOR & BATTERY
The new Macbook is equipped with a latest 5th generation Intel core M processor which is the first to get build with the 14 nm technology.This chipset is having more number of transistors when compared with other for better performance and lower power consumption.The notebook has the Intel HD graphics 5300 which requires low power and can perform amazingly without any heating issues so apple haven't included the cooling fan in this notebooks so that we can do our tasks calmly without any noise.
The notebook is full of batteries and chipset occupies a very little space in the notebook.Unlike the tradational batteries which are rectangular the apple new macbook batteries are of different shapes so that they can place more batteries inside the notebook to have a very good utility.The battery life is amazing on the new macbook it easily lasts a day with heavy usage.
This is the worlds most energy efficient notebook.The notebook has a USB-C port with a small charging dock which is very handy.The ram of the device is 8 GB and the hard disk varies in 256 GB and 512 GB versions.
