DuckDuckgo is a philadelphian start up company which is performing pretty well is a great alternate to the search engine GOOGLE.The most important thing about the company is Unlike google it doesn't track you nor collect/share your details which is just awesome!
The site launched in 2008 and by 2013 it is able to get 1billion searches which is great!.Coming to the design of the site it has a descent and sleeker look and users can customize themes according to their choice which is again a good feature,moreover this is the default search engine for Linux mint12
The sites business model is straightforward :it sells ads against searches.The results of the searches are pretty good not as accurate as google but it is a great site which is providing good results without any tracking or tracing our info like google.With this we can browse safely. :) try this once and do share your thoughts!
